I was just checking a map with macro breakdown, but frankly it doesn't help decifer the source of macros (i.e. bread vs fruit).
Plus who knows how legit it is, but there you go if anyone wants a look Dietary Macronutrient Composition per capita
And the eighties!!! Damn your old but yeah, I'm sure there is regional variance so maybe you can both be correct rather than saying that ones experience must be atypical.
Of course the whole world is becoming westernized and totalitarian agriculture ruled, so its no surprise that this map shows very little differences (except caloric load).

Among the developed nations I was surprised both by how similar the macrats are, and how the differences don't seem to predict much healthwise. I wonder if the energy excess is being driven by a combination of nutrient deficiency and (possibly addictive) toxins in some nations but not others?

Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
