Oddly, fish doesn't really fill me up. Given x amount of beef, I'll have leftovers, while x amount of fish leaves me looking for more to eat.

I agree with the above statement.

My body is different. Fish really fills me up, but beef makes me feel lazy and slow. Possibly our ancestors came from different regions.
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.

I can eat a half pound of salmon and be starving 30 minutes later...

Try eating a whole can of mackerel?

Glad I'm not the only one. I have, finally, figured out that having it with mayo helps make it an actual meal vs a snack, but I just can't think of fish as a really solid meal.

Too funny! I think most people fill up the same on both? We ever dine together, I'll give you a taste of my steak and you let me have some of your fish so we can enjoy both flavors and still get fueled.

Ever try bloodline tuna fillet? It is typically thrown away as it is not a "fish-like" cut of meat at all. I cook it rare on the grill - very steak like (in the blood/juice and texture).

You can get it super cheap at any fishmonger that deals alot of tuna. I get it from a Japanese supermarket. Wild caught fillets for $2/lb!

There is no way to read this without thinking of it inappropriately. Just had to point that out.
