I might be fooled, but I don't think my bacon has sulphites.
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
i dont know eating that much bacon per day= terrible ratio of omega 6 to omega 3. Maybe the ratio is irrelevant to some?
Only 10% of bacons fat is PUFA (and this is conventional data). Almost half of its fat is MUFA with high oleic acid (that fat purported to improve lipid profiles and why everyone goes gaga over olive oil). "From a health standpoint, oleic acid exhibits further benefits. It has been shown to slow the development of heart disease, and promotes the production of antioxidants." Boom antioxidants! The rest is good ole natural saturated fat, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Any reason to eat more bacon is good enough for me!
We get our bacon from US Wellness (when they have it)... sugar free, from pastured pork. Somehow, I think the O6s in it are not anywhere near as problematic as they would be from processed "vegetable" oils.
Still waiting for my eczema to clear up completely. I think it's getting somewhat better.
As far as I'm concerned, bacon is the greatest invention in the history of mankind.
I'm with you, Knifegill. My skin is MUCH better since bacon.
I'm thinking about putting bacon fat on my hands and see if it helps the vitiligo. I have it mostly on skin that is dry (hands, feet, elbows), and on arms and tummy it has mostly filled itself in since gong bacon. Plus I would have that bacon smell under my DKNY perfume...mmmh....
That being said, IMO, poultry and pork are much better staples than nuts in equal PUFA content. I'll always take the animal fat/protein over an equal amount of vegetable fat/protein.
