Took a nap - feel blah today. I really need to finish my paper, but today just seems like a blah day. Got together the books I need to take week after next. Just sort of aimless today.

Slept okay - up about 2 hours - back to sleep until now. Can tell I've been walking more, as my gluteus maximus are sore - not painfully so, but enough to know. No more slacking today - I've got to get to work and finish the one paper and do the other. I want to get the unpleasantness done and not have it hanging over my head! Making chipotle meatballs in the slow cooker today. DH has to roll the balls as my thumb prevents me helping with that.

Walked 1 1/2 miles with girls and DH.

Thanks Tomi. I've not taken the bandage off since I changed it Friday morning. I want to, but I'm thinking if I leave it alone 72 hours the bleeding should have stopped. If not, not sure of next step as there is nothing to stitch. I thought I was being careful.......guess not as much as I thought. It will be a while before I use it again!

Gave in and changed bandage. Didn't clean, small ooze in one spot. More gauze with bactroban (smaller strip) and a smaller pressure dressing. I'm thinking I will be able to clean and use a band-aide by Tuesday when I go to clinic.

    Ouch!

I did something similar a while back - cut myself on a razor. Truly a pain in the arse for a few days. Here's hoping the good primal nutrition will help you heal!
