If you are new to the PB - please ignore ALL of this stuff, until you've read the book, or at least http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-101/ and this (personal fave): http://www.archevore.com/get-started/
I guess like Isbolick I am only actively talking about Primal at the moment because colleagues/friends have started to notice a difference and have asked what I'm doing. Will take the advice of more senior members on board and avoid the c-word from now on though!
Sometimes peopleare threatened by the success of others especially when they are doing something that isn't working that well for them.

The way "ChooseMyPlate.gov" should have looked:
I literally just posted about this. Yes, I agree your first mistake was talking about it at all. Sometimes it can't be avoided like in situations where there is nothing primal to eat and you are in a small group so not eating would be noticable. I consider these times my 20%. The truth is your lifestyle change threatens the people who are being critical. Nobody wants to be the last overweight person and people will absolutely attempt to bring you down. It's human nature. Just keep doing what you are doing and bow to no person's pressure. More importantly DO NOT engage in the argument. It takes two to argue and you can just sit their and smile or change the subject while people are being critical. It's NOBODY'S business what you put in your mouth. Lead by example.
