Hi, how can I study effectively all day long, does anyone have any tips? (I've got a year to study for something very important.)
I'm mostly concerned with keeping my mind alert and fresh so that...
Cheers! :)
Hello, I'm Nat from Australia and I'm getting back on here because I've gotten a little lost...
So, I've started a journal (Nat's reawakening) to keep me accountable :)
It's nice to be back :)
Hello!
My name is Nat, I'm 22, female and returning to the primal way of life.
I've stuck to primal before and lost a lot of weight and looked great, but then took it too far and stopped...
I first heard about omega 9 yesterday- you can find it in hemp seed oil. That's all I know sorry.
wahoo that's awesome! :D
I only eat seafood (mainly fresh fish or frozen prawns; I try to limit the canned stuff) for animal protein, so I'll be interested to hear people's opinions about this.
Ok so pretty sure I only had 1/2 a cup of olive oil (maybe less?), which is fine IMO.
Grizz, Why???? Because it's so tasty and versatile! Thing is I had a huge craving for curry (???) and I wanted...
prrrhaps....
I had a strange craving for curry powder and olive oil as a carrot dip.... couldn't believe that it worked.
So how many tbsp in 3/4 cup?
Fitday's trying to tell me that I've consumed 3,545 calories from two meals today! wtf!!
All my inputs are estimates but the room for error is not large enough in this case to make me feel ok about...
I'm not into store-boxed anything if I can help it, so for that reason home-made wins hands down.
True it only keeps about 3 days. And it does not keep well in old wine bottles, fyi....
For a while...
lol... I'm working on overcoming this delicious affliction.
I absolutely agree with this! I'm reading Jared Diamond's 'Guns, Germs and Steel' at the moment and it really is helping me stay...
- Scrambled eggs (farmer bought, vibrant yellow)
- Raw fresh leafy greens
- Steamed brussel sprouts
- Fish (raw, steamed, fried, in that order)
- Olive oil (with every meal - I'm just not...
I appreciate the thinking and typing... that's how i do it as well... ...
That's the exact reason that I want to limit my consumption, because nuts weren't available in large quantities all the...
Oh wow congratulations!! That's so exciting! I'm going to pay someone to set up a food garden in my backyard soon... You're so lucky to have agricultural knowledge. Grow strawberries, carrots and...
:D thanks for that. But my weakness is for nuts, not junk food. I can eat A LOT of raw plain nuts. I'm going to make a sincere effort to not eat them often.
Last day of the nut ban. I succeeded. I don't really know what strategies I'll adopt to comfortably restrict my nut consumption though - maybe an occassional handful of macadamias, a small amount of...
Good luck!!!
haha awesome!
Oh good to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem; I've only been going barefoot for 24 days.
According to fitday and the white spots of my nails, I need more zinc.
I don't want to take supplements. I only eat seafood for animal protein (not meat).
Any suggestions?
Googling the topic,...
Can anyone else attest to this? It makes sense but is so far from CW... but that, actually, would be a good thing.
I really like the idea that eating should be a way of slowing down - rather than a...
I totally get into your mindset sometimes and my solution is just to get out of the house and come back when I'm happy again. Stay busy. I also remind myself that I'll feel even worse if I overeat...
Strategies for not rushing meals anyone?
Sipping wine and telling stories are all that I can think of, but they don't particularly suit me.
Very interesting thread, I've always wondered about this. I only lose weight when I restrict calories (obvious) but excessively restricting achieves nothing as it just ends with a binge (obvious)....
