Sorry to hear about the stomach upset.
I had heartburn a while back, which is extremely rare for me. Anyway, we had Mexican Coke in small glass bottles (I wouldn't touch our corn syrup stuff) and...

Skip the coconut flour, or just add no more than a Tb. spoon. Use more bananas.
Edit to add: Posting at the same time as JM
Chased my cat around the house and in the yard. He likes to race me when we climb the stairs too and to look at me mockingly from the top.
Yes, toss it and get egg white protein powder instead.
No, It wasn't the all potato thing. I simply decided to up my carbs from 60 - 70 to the 130- 140g. range by basically adding cooked and chilled potatoes to my dinner.
Enjoy both sweet and white potatoes.
Not that I'm trying to get anything started here, but if the carby taters send that awful flood of insulin into my body and all that jazz, I wonder how in the...
Hi YB, I've been reading your journal and seems like things are getting better with you and your family these days. YaY!! Just stopped by to say hi. Feels a little rude to just read.
I love...
I prefer calling it running. If it feels like fun and not over exerting, you are fine. It's good for your cardio vascular health.
CrossFit can become addictive (from what I've heard and read) and...
Noooooooooooo!! Anything but IE!!!
Not that this is meant to be the last word on anything, but just wanted to say that I really appreciate you being here, Zach. Personally, I'm not about to climb any big rock candy or sourdough...
I used to binge once in a while while I was eating VLC. I have zero expertise on this subject, but for someone prone to binging, the more balanced in macronutrient the diet, the better IMO.
Eat. More. Carbs. As you do that, you'll have to cut down on fat some in order to keep your calories in check.
There you have it. Some people don't digest raw vegetables too well. If this persist, you'll need a good probiotic, fermented foods or to eat your vegs cooked instead.
Nothing wrong with rice imo, but I prefer potatoes. Oven roasted "steak fries" coated with olive oil, sea salt and chili powder are really nice.
Yes! The reason I don't come here much anymore. I don't know if the traffic is too heavy or what....
I've seen the commercials unfortunately and I agree with the rant.
People are just dumb these days and the trend is toward even more dumbness.
Bananas are perfect as they are. Yellow, without or with few freckles. Encased in the peel, relatively clean food. Why would anyone want to mess with them?
Sometimes common sence has to prevail too. Why would they really need a proof. Wheat and HFCS are cheap. All that prime time (and all TV ad time) ain't cheap.
One of the reasons i avoid watching tv...
I haven't yet mastered the dexterity of 'folding', so I think I'll just stick with lettuce leaves for now, and probably ever. Too much work for me. I'd rather cook a steak and potato instead;)
My personal experience almost paralels Otzi's. I was very low and then low carb for a long time. Initially I lost a good amount of weight (25 lbs), but eventually hit a brick wall at about 10lbs to...
Aha, I now see what the intent of this thread was.
And in this case, I'll have to go with the tape worm theory :)
I dunno, I would think lots of carbs, combined with lots of fat would take care of it. And maybe some coke made with real sugar, instead of Coke zero.:D
I now only buy raw almond butter and use very little of it, only in recipes.
Except for the odd slice of bacon on my burger, I've been avoiding pork lately. I think it's psychological in part. It kinda happened after I read about all the similarities between pigs and humans....
