Hahahahaha! Yep, pretty much. That's why I have to hide it, and why hiding it can be challenging. The taste is strong and objectionable. Even the smell is disgusting.
Personally, I'm not sure...
Ha! I had that same thought when I was putting the little balls of offal into the freezer. What to label them so I wouldn't forget what they were and no one else would figure it out! ;)
Just a follow-up on what I did.
I bought a whole pastured lamb, which came with a bunch of parts no one was going to eat. I ground up the liver (huge), kidneys, hearts (3, for some reason), and...
Lmao!
You may be sensitive to something you are eating, causing inflammation. The easiest way to find out would be to eliminate all likely culprits for a few weeks and then try adding each one back in, one...
Oh yes; that's the one. Thanks!

Yes, definitely, I was referring to Dr Kruse's leptin reset. I've also read Richards' Mastering Leptin. The protocols are similar, but not quite the same. Kruse is experimenting, trying to move...
Haha! I know what you mean. I don't actually mind the nuts nearly so much as the jerks, though. ;)
I remember it was a seriously hot topic a year or two ago. I could never keep up with that monster thread; now I can't even find it.
Is anyone still doing it? For those who did, what results did...
1 Brazil nut is perfect. :)
Yes.
Mmmmm. Now I wish I hadn't fed last night's pastured chicken liver to the dog! Oh well. She needs to eat, too. I'll have another chicken liver next week. :)
Thanks, everyone. BTW, my dh is even more strongly opposed to it than the kids are. ;).
I'm trying to find a way to sneak a little liver into my family's diet. No need to bother with the lovely ways to prepare liver -- if it still tastes like liver, they are not going to eat it. Not...
Now see, if I really liked working out, I'd be all set. :). For me, while I don't dislike it, it's just a means to an end.
So glad this thread has been revived. I am late to the BBS game, having just read the book.
I have let my strength training lapse the last few months, and as I was thinking about how I wanted to...
Well, I do have to take off the hat, but i leave my cowgirl boots on!
FWIW, there's quite a large Asian population in the DFW area. ;)

Scratching head, trying to remember where I...
Loving using tapatalk! Thanks, Admin! :)
Just a few thoughts... A rumbling stomach does not always mean hunger. An empty feeling does not necessarily mean hunger. Hungry feelings shortly after eating a substantial meal are almost...
I'd guess you are really thirsty, rather than hungry. Forty oz of water is not much. I usually aim for 1/2 my weight (in pounds) in liquids (in ounces). So for a 300 lb person, that would be 150 oz...
I make kimchi, coconut milk kefir, and preserved lemons and eat all 3 pretty much daily.
I dunno. They exercise those biggest Loser folks half to death, and they drop incredible amounts of weight.
What would I do with it? Just eat it? Cook it? Put it on something? In something?
