That's the appetizer.
Good news for the Badgers!
We had a random hot day, and since the northwest hasn't quite jumped on the whole Central Air thing, I wish we had French doors to open. I mean, I've lived places where the AC can't hope to keep up...
Wow that's a crazy light show. It doesn't seem to storm where I'm at now (Washington state) which is weird for me.
I've had really good luck with "deployment books." Thanks for the recommendation. ;3
Watching Outlander and trying to decide if I want to buy the books or not. I made it through the first season, suffering only a little through the last half. I'm giving the first episode, perhaps...
Here ya go.
We stayed up baby/puppy sitting the other night and slept through dinner yesterday.
So while I was asleep the Gentalman went and ordered pizza, which we then ate too much...
That chicken sounds nom. Have you figured out how to do smaller amounts in the pot? Does it matter like it does in a slow cooker?
You'll make it Pebbles. Sometimes doing is the hardest part, but you CAN do it.
I'm struggling with the doing part right now too. :/
Cool. I'm actually planning on doing a whiskey cream sauce, which may or may not be primal anyway. I bet it'll be good though.
Can I sauté it without breading/flour? Is there a recommended temperature it should be done to? I assume it's like hamburger in that because the interior has been exposed to the blades/air it can't...
I like this idea a lot. It's super cute. 83 Also yay cookies!
Our first meat delivery came in today. We got a sirloin tip roast, short ribs, cube steak, ground pork and ground beef. I'm particularly excited about the short ribs, though the Gentlaman hates...
I'm continuing this thread in my own journal. Thanks for all the help and support guys.
The Gentleman made hamburgers instead of lettuce wraps, which worked because it's less fussy and we're almost out of tamari. We also finished up some Brussels sprouts and the last of the bacon.
I'll add a slingshot to the next grocery list. ;)
Digging through recipes found me a few things if anyone does try this:
Alton Brown did one! Go by his recipe from the show, not Food Network (seriously it's come to the point where I actually...
That's what I do right now. 400F for an hour (sometimes 50-55 minutes of its a little small) has never failed me. I was just curious about the method.
I stumbled across a method of butter flying and broiling a whole chicken. That seems like a good way to burn some raw chicken to me, but I figure if I can faux grill using my broiler and grilled...
I made the chicken last night with champ (mashed potatoes with green onions). Since I finally have a real adult kitchen, I've been trying to learn how to cook better. Instead of winging it, I've...
Haha same. Where did everyone go??
Food this week--my recipes:
Chicken with lemon rub (paleo)
Thai green curry marinated beef kabobs (paleo)
Leftover chicken turnovers (gf)
Shrimp and spaghetti (gf)...
What's up doc?
That looks so good and my stomach even feels icky today. How is the pesto? Is it garlicky?
Weird about the rice. Much hav something to do with starch crystals or maybe it just dried out to...
Nice tat ;3
