How can you track your carbs?
I'm pretty new to all of this and I've seen people post in many places that there is no need to track nutrients etc. but, I am still tracking my food until I can get the hang of everything and how much fat, carbs and proteins I'm eating on a normal day. I find it keeps me under control.
My question is this, when everything we eat like the fruits and veg all have in carbs, what source can you depend on to tell you how much you're really eating (nutrient wise)? My Fitness Pal's database is quite extensive but sometimes unreliable from the point of view that hard boiled and soft boiled eggs should technically be the same macros, but they have all the nutrients at different levels. So I really just want to make sure that I'm eating the correct amount of carbs and not too much. I would still like to drop about 10 lbs or so.
