omegas: fish oil capsules, canned fish
I've read in several places now that when buying fish oil supplements we need to be concerned about the quality of the product. If the fish oil is made with inferior fish or is oxidized then its probably worse than no fish oil. I bought fish oil capsules from Higher Nature in the UK. According to their website they use wild anchovies sardines and mackerel. Sounds good to me. I have no idea if it is oxidized but they do include and antioxidant in their oils. does anyone else use this brand and do you know anything more about the quality of the oil?
My other question is about canned fish such as tuna, anchovies, and sardines packed in olive oil. Are these good sources of omegas too? I know the best source is from fresh fish but I only eat fresh fish once or twice a week and I'm not sure of thats enough.
