Food texture affects caloric impact -- interesting study
I don't know if this study has been discussed already, but it's really intriguing...
Diet-induced obesity in ad libitum-fed mice: food ... [Br J Nutr. 2013] - PubMed - NCBI
Summary: mice were fed diets that were macro-nutritionally identical, but half of them received their food in powder form, and the other half in pellet form. The powder-eating mice got fatter.
Why might this be? And what does this tell us about how we should select food?
