If you really miss hummus (errr, not really but)....
I mixed aioli (homemade olive oil mayo) about 2 T with 2 tsp of Za'atar seasoning from Savory Spice Shop. Just like hummus.
As a reformed vegetarian, I really don't miss hummus. But it was good on my chicken.
Baba ghanoush = primal hummus :D

My go-to veggie dip is tahini, olive oil, 1/4 squeezed lemon, and roasted garlic paste but it feels like it could use a little more seasoning.
I thought I missed hummus until recently when this adorable gay Palestinian chef friend of mine brought his homemade hummus to a party and forced me to take home the leftovers. It was yummy and I ate a batch but boy, I was glad my dog was the only one sleeping with me that night. Even he was starting to get offended by the smell.
To the aioli, baba ghanoush, and tahini suggestions I would add cucumber yoghurt dip. I use labne kefir cheese cuz it's thicker than yoghurt. Spice with some garlic salt and pepper and turmeric.

I've never tried it myself. But I will also vouch for baba ghanoush and tzatziki.
