Post-Vacation Whole30? Advice please.
I am just getting back from a wonderful, beachy vacation where I walked for miles every day, stayed very active, and even got in a strength training session while I was there! I enjoyed every bit of my holiday, including the food.... I stayed relatively Primal in my food choices, except for the very last day. On my trip, I had lots of seafood, sushi, nachos (pitched most of the chips), a bunless burger, a fruit & cheese plate, barbecue brisket, Caribbean jerk chicken, fudge brownie ice cream, lots of coconut water, coffee, and snacked on dried fruit, nuts and honey, and a few other foods that seemed pretty legit.
I was feeling pretty great the whole time, and I still feel okay, except the last day I gave in, and decided to indulge in the ice cream, and I had another dessert with cake. I figured it'd be okay since I was going home, and I'd done relatively well on my trip. The ride home, though, was a bit rough. I was so lethargic the whole day, and it felt like I had a hangover despite me not drinking a drop of alcohol. I feel pretty run down today, and I have hardly eaten anything. I just haven't been hungry.
My question is, do you think that it is a good idea, or that it's necessary to do a Whole30 to cleanse myself of the naughty fun I had on vacation? I've never done a Whole30 before, and I think it'd be pretty tough, buuuut if all of y'all think that it'd be very beneficial (or, if you have any other suggestions that you think would be MORE beneficial than that) I'd love to hear your feedback. :)
