Woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep, so got up at 3 and did a workout DVD. I'm down to a new low weight this morning of 175.4 and it feels great. Every little bit helps.
So at the end of my first week of Juddd, I've lost 2.2 pounds (177.6 - 175.4). Not bad at all--it's more than I've lost doing anything else (in an equal amount of time) for the last couple of years, lol.
Today so far:
3:00 am: 1 raw coconut macaroon and 2 cal/mag chewables
4:30 am: instant decaf coffee with 2T HWC
6:00 am: 8 slices thin cut bacon
11:30 am: 4 oz Polska Kielbasa; green shake: 1/2 avocado, spinach, 1/2 med banana
4:30 pm: fresh mushrooms and duck breast w/skin sauteed in Kerrygold garlic herb butter
5:30 pm: 2T cream cheese
I'm am down a slight bit more in weight this morning which is surprising since I wasn't regular yesterday and I think what I ate was higher in sodium. I DID have more activity than is normal though...did 45 minutes of that workout DVD yesterday, and then I took my car to get a special smog check, but the car of the guy ahead of me took almost a full hour. During that time, I stood and paced, lol. Nice low level activity.
So, today is a down day, so a very light menu:
5:30 am: 1 large mug of decaf instant coffee (I'm out of coffee filters) with 2T HWC
9:00 am: sample taste of Organic Pastures Raw Whole Milk at the Farmer's Market. Walk to/from/around the market - 40 minutes
11:00 am: Green shake: spinach, 1/2 Haas avocado, 1/2 medium banana, filtered water
4:00 pm: slices of Applegate roast beef with 2Tcream cheese
Wow, down 1.2 pounds since yesterday and that was without BM for two days. Very happy! I ate a bit more than my daily allowance of calories yesterday, but it was not more than 600 calories. I was hungrier yesterday than I have been in a while, but mostly I just wanted to eat.
Today is an up day:
4:40 am: 1 raw coconut macaroon, 2 cal/mag chewables, 1 commuter mug of decaf+via Peppermint Mocha instant, with .5 % organic HWC and 2T Organic Pastures Grade A Cream
7:00 am: 3 oz Polska Kielbasa w/1 packet Best Foods mayo (I know)
9:00 am: small piece of homemade (not by me, lol) gluten free chocolate cake
11:30 am: 4.5 oz 85% ground beef, 1/2 (minus 1 brown spot) Haas avocado
5:00 pm: 3 oz polish sausage, mushrooms, broccoli sauteed in Kerrygold garlic herb butter; 1 square Lindt 90%
Well, with no surprise, I am up one pound from yesterday's little carb fest.

4:40 am: 2 cal/mag chewables, 1 commuter mug of decaff coffee w/3T Organic Pastures Cream
8:00 am: 2 hard boiled eggs with a THIN layer of mayo
11:40 pm: 1-1/2 cups 365 Beef Broth; 1 T Kerrygold garlic herb butter; 1/2 cube boullion
5:30 pm: 1 container Fage Full fat Greek yogurt
I dug out my FitBit last night, charged it up and am wearing it today to capture my activity. I also found my BodyMediaBug and will charge it up tonight when I get home.
I lost that pound of water weight so I'm back down to 174, and while settling on the weight the scale actually flashed into the 173s. It's been quite a few months since I've seen that, so it was exciting!!

4:30 pm: weird dinner: 1 oz uncured pepperoni, 1 oz organic Pastures raw cheddar; 2T crunchy almond butter and 2T cream cheese
Uggg, woke up at 1:00 am, I think because my hip was hurting. That's an ongoing problem for the last couple of years. I stayed in bed until 2:00 am but was just too uncomfortable, so just got up and did a little cardio workout. I also woke up feeling pretty bloated...guess my weird dinner last night was just a little too weird, lol.
Today is a down day, so kind of light on the food:
4:15 am: 2 cal/mag chewables; 1 commuter mug of decaf brewed coffee on the way to work
7:00 am: hard boiled large egg
9:15 am: decaf tea w/ 1/2T honey

Double uggg, lol. Slept slighly more and slightly better than the previous night, but still woke up early...this morning around 2ish. Never did go back to sleep.
But, I had great news when I stepped on the scale....down another little bit, so I'm at 173.4 this morning. That's about 9 pounds since starting my MFP journal--4 pounds in the last two weeks.
Today is an up day and I'm really enjoying it so far, lol.

11:20 am: 4.5 oz 85% ground beef and 1 ounce of Organic Pastures Raw Cheddar Cheese; and if it's not any more rotten than it is now, about half a Haas avocado. The two halves have some brown spots so I figure sum total of the good parts will equal a half if it doesn't get worse in the next few hours.
4:30 pm: Fage FF Greek yogurt; 1 square Lindt 90%
Down slightly more this morning....happy, happy! Today is a down day and I'm going to try to save most of my calories for later in the day.
4:00 am: Decaf coffee w/2T Organic Pastures Cream; 2 cal/mag chewables
8:30 am: Iced decaf coffee w/HWC; Sugar Free Vanilla syrup
Not sure what the rest of the day looks like...may buy something special for dinner when I'm out grocery shopping

OMG OMG, I'm down another pound this morning! 172.2! Yay. Today is an up day, so normal eating. Up for today, a walk to the Farmer's Market and maybe a trip to the car dealership to buy a new car. I dunno. Maybe. :)

Uggg, have that weird "thirsty" feeling in my mouth that drinking water doesn't seem to help. I guess pepperoni isn't such a great idea afterall.

I suspected I would be up a bit this morning and I was. Only .4 pounds and I think it will go away quickly. This happened the last time I ate pepperoni as well, so I think I'll not eat it again. That weird "I'm thirsty" taste in my mouth also happened the last time I had it...one more reason to let it go.

Also up today....trip to the bank to get my old pink slip out of my safe deposit box so I can take it to the car dealership, cuz I bought myself a car yesterday. :)
