No need to drink it, but I wonder if it is SAFER than sugar based or HFCS based drinks on a same intake basis?
doesn't the fact that you have to point out that it's not dangerous, and that there are recommended limits on how much a person should consume, indicate that maybe it's not be best thing to have in the first place?
Duh, fiber.
hahahaha
I eat it and feel like absolute shit.
That's the only real "study" I need in the end.
Every time I have drank black coffee with just even a packet of a sweetener with aspartame I've gotten a slight headache. For me, this is the only clarification I need.

Animal experiments extrapolated to humans without consideration of other possible toxic loads in the latter's current environment or other predispositions......yeah, these things always turn out so well for us :)

Obviously more safe, 12 cans of sugar soda per day will give you a substantial fructose and energy overload. The 12 cans limit is a very conservative estimate though, you could probably double it without any health issues whatsoever. Personally I like to drink some diet coke when doing intermittent fasting, it gives a good diuretic effect and help me to "flush" liquids through my body before eating...
Yikes! 12 diet sodas a day! Glad to know that aspartame is not life threatening in moderation. Diet sodas still have other artificial ingredients! Once you drink them they pass through various organs and leave a sodaprint of sorts before they exit your body. I'll stick with the real deal=Water!! I think before I were to drink a diet soda I would have a fabulous all natural microbrew! (sigh)
Why gamble with junk like this?
Positives of drinking diet soda:
- You like it?
Negatives of drinking diet soda:
- Chemicals in a can
- Harmful effects cannot be ruled out completely
Easy choice for me.
