I have some friends who were both morbidly obese. First she got gastric bypass surgery, and then he did. They've had a delicate time healing, and she ended up needing her gall bladder removed a little while after the surgery. Finally, their situation seems to be stabilizing.
And what do I see but a post in which they ask their family and friends to vote for them to win dozens of free cupcakes from a local artisan cupcake bakery.
YOU GUYS -- THEY WON. THEY WON FRUITY PEBBLES CUPCAKES.
I would cry, except I'm too busy shaking my head. I hope they enjoy that second gastric bypass surgery because the first round didn't take. :(
When I think of pallet, that's what I think of.
Sam's club needs pallets of eggs. The most I can get is 36 wrapped together:(
I have bought cubes of 15 dozen there.
The eggs are bigger too. One tray we bought last month had 3 (!) double yolkers in it.
I just cracked open a dozen eggs this morning and 3 were double yolks. Eggs were pretty much normal size to.
I want chickens! How many chickens would you need for say 5 dozen eggs a week?
I own chickens, and to get 5 doz. you would need closer to 12 birds. Lots of factors affect egg laying. They usually lay 1 egg per day, but you would probably get 5 eggs per bird during the week.

Oy vay, kind of like a recovering alcoholic winning a case of Jack Daniels.
So my cousins husband, who is morbid obese has diabetes (does not take good care of it), now on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant and his wife, my cousin finds a recipe on facebook she says he can totally have. Ingredients: angel food cake mix and a can of crushed pineapple. Mix, bake.

Have they already reproduced? I can't help but think they are bringing down the gene pool. It is one thing to be tempted by a cupcake now and then. It is quite another to go begging for the Mother Lode.
I'm sorry, I know that sounds harsh, I'm sure they have many fine qualities. But, really! Don't they see what they are doing?
And...'fruity pebbles' cupcakes? Doesn't sound worth going into a sugar coma to me.
Joining you in the head-shaking. I hope I am not as oblivious to my challenges.

MY GOD MAN
where do you think meringue comes from.... stop the insanity!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not even sure I know what meringue is. The only use I can think of for egg whites without yolks is to make whisky sours the old fashioned way, and I really don't feel like having a hangover. Or squeezing all those damn lemons.
