My vegan friend told me that I get mosquito bites because I eat animal products. She continued to say how because she is vegan that she doesn't get mosquito bites anymore.
However, she gets sunburned extremely easily, gets B vitamin shots regularly, and has rosacea on her face.
Your vegan friend doesn't understand biology. Mosquitoes are drawn to a chemical we and birds exude:

Some people are "smellier" than others. I am a person who could walk in a state devoid of mosquitoes and all of them would find me... and eat me alive.... and I was a vegan for 17 years.

Something I found about going primal, I don't wake up when bitten. I sleep through it, not itchy like old times

I'm pregnant and I've been bit by more bugs the past 5 months than ever in my life. I think it has something to do with my excess blood volume and ejection fracture, etc. Either way, it sucks. Sometimes I go outside, look down at my legs, and there are 4-5 mosquito's on me. Also, I've been bitten by 3 spiders too, something I managed to avoid my entire life until now.
My vegan friends have said that mosquito theory numerous times, but they get bit. It's like they preach it, believe it, but it's literally biting them in the ass.
