Just finished L3D1. Did 51 rounds. If I meet or exceed my previous level D1 round total, I consider it a success. L2D1 last week I did 50 rounds, so [borat]Great Success![/borat]
I will begin this next Monday. It looks like something I could get into. NOW...all I need to do is locate a pull up bar that can accommodate my current weight (306 pounds) AND my height 6'4". Making one myself is looking like it might happen....*sigh* (digs around shed for inadequate tools)....
I'm 6'5". When I started, I chained a piece of pipe to a limb of an oak tree in my back yard... I've since bought a 10 ft tall power rack, but the tree served me well for about a year at a total cost of around $10.
This thread may be somewhat dead, but I'm glad to have found it! I've just registered on SimpleFit and plan to start Level 1 tonight!
I'm starting this on Monday! I was already doing a pretty simple workout of pushups, pullups, chinups, reverse dips, and prisoner squats with pretty decent results. I was isolating the exercises to separate but like how SF cranks up the pace - this should be a real fat burner!
I'm intrigued too! thanks for bumping this thread up!
Cheapo, you look incredible!! So... Groky :)
I have been doing this workout since i have changed to being primal..have done level one with not problems for a consistent 2 weeks now...Starting level 2 or 3 on monday!!
Did step one today and only managed 22 rounds. I set my phone timer for 20 minutes and did what I could. I'll admit I did not rush and had one brief interruption. I tried to focus on my pullup technique and to do it slowly with good form and a full range of movement. I did 3 pushups instead of 2 since those are pretty easy for me.
While I wasn't too sore afterwords, it does take some aerobic effort to get through the cycles. So far I like it and can't wait to pick up the intensity.
I have just started my 3rd week of level 1 on this simplefit workout and managed 29 rounds today (compared to 22 wk1 and 20 wk2), which I'm happy with. I know I could have done more, but I didn't wanna sacrifice my technique for speed.
I created a facebook page for it if anyone's interested in liking it (literally started it today so nothing much up for far).
