sucanat
well, i woke up and put about a tsp of sucanat in my coffee! i must have really needed my coffee because it's been a while since i did this and it was totally out of habit. anyhow, i looked up the nutritional info on sucanat (to get an idea of the carb/sugar) and it says zero for both??? how is this possible? it's sugar!

Ah. They lie. Sucanat is dried sugar cane juice, and retains the natural molasses, so logically it cannot be zero carbs or sugar. I have found that labels are notoriously untrustworthy. Sugar is sugar.

One teaspoon is 4 carbs. It's an error.
