A couple of technical questions...
Ok, so for reasons I'd rather not divulge here, I need to know a couple of things about fatty acid turnover rate. How does the macro-composition of meals affect release of fatty acid from adipose tissue? I know sugar/carbs raise insulin and lock fat cells, but how does fat intake affect the process, if at all? I need to manipulate the speed of fatty acid release, and this is what I'm doing so far:
1. For speeding it up -- 24 hr IF, caffeine, exercise, cold exposure, low carb for sure, maybe high fat?
2. For slowing it down -- No exercise, staying warm, eat plenty of sugar, low fat?
Can anyone chime in on this?
