I do this all the time......but with way more chili, topped with cheese and sour cream. In fact by the time I'm done its more like all the rest of that stuff with a few bites of potato in there somewhere :)
Lunch: brisket, cheddar cheese, and a big bowl of kimchi.
Supper: Garlic and anchovy white pizza with a rice crust. A whole grapefruit.
Time to boil tomorrow's potatoes.
Just tea so far. Fasted all day yesterday just for the hell of it and still haven't eaten yet today. Can TELL I'm in ketosis without a ketostick to inform me. :D
I'm thinking a huge mound of scrambled pastured eggs in coconut oil seasoned with dill and a bunch of grass-fed lamb sausage (packed in colegen from also from the same grass-fed lambs) for dinner this eve. Might have some kimchi tossed on top (after cooking so as not to kill the good stuff) to spice it up a bit.
1lbs chicken wings and a few large carrots for breakfast, washed down with a pot of coffee!
3 Fried eggs
2 strips of bacon
30oz of coffee (with Bailey's cream, not primal, I know.)
really good food today:
breakfast: leftover beef stew (beef, veggies)
lunch: zucchini, leeks and tomato frittata
dinner: bacon wrapped salmon with cooked beets, onions and bell pepper
dessert: mixed berries with whipped coconut cream.
For lunch I had a fry-up of chorizo, three eggs, an onion and a pepper.
For dinner, it was a pound of pork belly, with a cauliflower/parsley sauce.
Very nice alternative to the distinctly non primal usual parsley sauce.
For breakfast I had 2 eggs and three strips of bacon (and a cup of coffee)
For lunch I had a salad (spinach, broccoli, bell pepper, mushroom, ham) with lemon juice squeezed on it, and greek yogurt with strawberries in it (to drink I had water with lemon juice).
Not sure what I will have for dinner, hmm. I am craving sweet potatoes for some reason.
Protein Smoothie (spinach, pineapple, orange, blueberries, strawberries, vanilla protein, 1/2 banana)
Tried my first bulletproof coffee (coffee w organic butter)
angus beef hotdog, chunk of cheese, carrots, cucumbers
deviled egg (1/2 egg)
taco salad (lettuce, spinach, spiced ground beef, cheese, sour cream, olives, avocado, tomatoes - yumm!)
