Huge congrats on the successful culmination of a fabulous primal pregnancy :D.
A new baby in the tribe! Congratulations!
Thank you, thank you. Hold your applause please ;)
She's very sweet, but we had some trouble nursing right away. Someone got mom's bull headed stubborn gene and flat out refused breast. After 6 hours of life, she finally puked up some awesomeness. They took her to see if they could get more out, and suddenly she was real interesting in nursing when she came back... for at least 5 mins, lol. Hoping she'll get more interested soon.

aw!
Hope she is interested in the good stuff real soon :D
Oh, my! What a gem! Love all the hair and the little bow!
Congrats to you and your beautiful family!
Congrats! Keep trying on the nursing, she is probably just resting up to start driving you crazy.
Andy went home to take Grace to school and run some errands (getting me some berries and cream to go with my breakfast-- yum!) Annee whisked off to nursery for vitals check. Catching some hang time on here. She had some minor complications (arithmia and breathing issue) that had her in NICU for an hour or two after birth, and by the time they got her to me she was too sleepy to nurse. Spent at least 2 hours trying to get her to latch on, but she would just sit there and not suck (or get super angry and turn red and scream like "MOOOOOOM, LEAVE ME ALONE!" which cracked me up. I'm mean like that). Sweetest little self soothing coos when she's upset. Finally she puked up some awesomeness all over Andy, and they took her to nursery to pump her tummy. Guess who wanted to feed after that! Spent most of the night snuggling and catching up on feeding. She's doing great now.
So glad to hear it. I don't make a great parent, but I always remind my kids at least I nursed far longer than average :). They know then it is time to shut it and walk away.
Have a smooth recovery and enjoy the baby.
What a cutie!! It makes me miss that 'cuddlebug' time with my kids. Enjoy & congrats!
