If you really put your desire to make giant poops above your health, then fiber is your friend.
um, no, I don't aim to compromise health, just hoping to ease daily discomfort and gross bloat
Is it not related to a specific food? Are you eating dairy or fruit? Or any faleo food with nut flours, etc?
it seems regardless of what or how I eat things don't move well. and curious if increasing fiber dramatically is the way to help
Aimlow, my Perfect Digestion recipe is to lightly grease the outsides of medium sized eggplants with a grease of your choice (I use cocnut oil), pierce it in many places with a knife, wrap in foil with a head of garlic, and bake for an hour at 350 degrees. Than scoop the pulp out and blend with the garlic, salt and whatever spices you like (I use a bit of cumin and cayenne).
A half cup of the resulted eggplant caviar (or baba ganush) makes things very, very smooth. Do not overdo though, as it is very potent!
CO in my coffee really gets me, umm, going in the morning.
I have noticed eating a pear helps.

Ooh. This sounds quite tasty!
Improving your metabolism also improves digestion. Do you feel cold all the time? How about your hands and feet?
As for your question, adding in more insoluble fiber in my experience makes things worse. I have the best elimination on a low residue diet, eating only things that are highly digestible like fruit, dairy, red meat, eggs, white rice. Keeping beans, nuts, veggies and other stuff toa minimum.
