A shotgun!
They're not dug yet, but several holes for some shrubs :D
A kneeling chair.
A wall bracket for my computer monitor.. the start of my standing work station
A Pyrex pie dish & really nice silicone basting brush. A pattern kit to make moccasins (hooray for custom minimalist shoes!).
Best christmas ever! I got *nothing!* It's so wonderful to not be burdened with unwanted stuff!
Somehow I actually saw that one coming! Ever get congratulated for getting nothing at all?? Well, zoebird, congratulations for nothing!
Hey Dr. BB,
Looks like from your sig that you are going to be getting a present dropped off by the stork sometime in January. My best wishes for a happy and healthy delivery for all.

Me, too, Dr. bork bork!! I have a January kid as well. May your delivery go smoothly, your doctor be totally on his game on that day, the nurses well-rested and nice, the pillows plump, and the food good for once! (assuming you will be at a hospital... if not, substitute "doula/midwife" for "doctor" and "nurses", and may the Primal Food Fairy put yummy things in your fridge!)
I got Mark's new Sauces and Dressings cookbook! A couple of new jewelry pieces to (still) attract my very own Grok-mate, and a lava lamp for relaxation purposes.
A food processor, chai teas, and lots of dark chocolate. Plus a rib roast yesterday and goose tonight. It was a merry Christmas :D

oh, that would be NICE... I'm slowly getting people to do this...
my parents like to gift from their travels, so we got a percussive frog (you run a stick along its back), artsy wine stopper/plate, Cambodian cinnamon and peppercorns, hand towels, gift cards to amazon (intended to be used for some sort of cooking vessel/appliance) and home depot, plus a couple of books (braising cookbook - yes please!) they thought we'd like.
Should've asked for a side of grass-fed beef.... oh well, next year.
I got the norovirus! It started at 11pm on Christmas eve so I ended up doing a 36 hour water fast! How primal is that!
On the plus side i am better now and I got vouchers for a series of sports massages so looking forward to booking them in the new year.

Thank you, and likewise! 2 of my supervising OBs are aware of Primal/paleo and are on board with it. Another one runs around in vibrams. I feel like I'm in good hands this time round. I was concerned about the hospital food, but they said it's all ala carte/made to order now, so I'm feeling hopeful. Also the hospital is surrounded by my favorite restaurants and grocery stores, so sending hubby out for something if food is unacceptable won't be a problem!
