Jenn - I saw one of those "my weird addictions" shows where a girl was addicted to eating chalk. It was wearing down her teeth and causing all kinds of troubles! Beware on MaKenna's tender little baby teeth.............. NOT that she eats it every day all day like the weirdo on the tv show............ but still. A good thing to nip in but right now so it doesn't develope into something bad later. I seem to remember sucking on it when I was a young thing - but not chowing down. :)

I am the cook in the house. My husband typically takes sandwiches for lunch, but will sometimes take leftovers if we have no bread(gasp)! I don't take leftovers for lunch typically because dinner is my heavy protein meal.

I am the cook, due to scheduling and mobility issues (Fiancé's broken foot). I don't really plan meal sizes ahead. Sometimes, his food schedule is off, so he doesn't eat dinner and saves it for lunch. Sometimes, I make more food, and we both take leftovers. Sometimes, he orders out at work or doesn't like what I made, so I get more leftovers for lunch. I never make enough to eat leftovers from breakfast, though sometimes I think I'd like to.
Also, I don't make anything with wheat unless he requests it (not often). Lately, I've been making a large portion of white rice in our rice cooker about once a week. He uses that to make fried rice concoctions for lunch sometimes, otherwise I just reheat it to go with dinner. I am trying to swap that for sweet potatoes so I can get back to strictly primal, and then cut carbs a little. Today, I had last night's dinner for lunch because I wasn't hungry at the time, which included roasted organic yellow potatoes. I will cut out regular potatoes going forward too.

One of the things I am considering getting is the blood thing to check for ketosis, but since the sticks are so expensive maybe get a good baseline and then just maintenance checks like once a week or so. I will be more serious about it if my March weigh in shows no weight loss.

we keep it out of her reach most times, but sometimes she finds a stray stick that we missed (like finds it in the toybox or something). As soon as we see her eat it, we take it away and remind her that chalk is not food and we don't eat chalk. I think she just likes the crunch of it. lol

I totally don't feel like going to the gym today... *sigh* But even so, I have to wait til someone is back in the office. Can't leave the office unattended for fear that the phone will ring and on one is here to answer. *gasp*

I think my body is purging crap again. I'm breaking out. Given that I can count on one hand the number of zits I've had in my life up until this point, I'm really hoping that's what it is.
