Greek Gods uses pectin. While that may not be bad, I didn't like it because it had a jel-like texture rather than creamy. I'd rather eat 0% fat Fage or Chobani than full fat Greek Gods because even at no fat, they both taste like creamy yogurt. Chobani is having some legal probs right now because of playing fast and loose with the word "natural," so you might want to go Fage.
I tossed the Greek Gods in the garbage by the way. I didn't like it that much.
Greek Gods also does the "smaller than standard container" trick, which is always a bit annoying. I didn't toss it but I have no plans to buy more.
Yogurt is easy to make at home, FWIW. Plus the whey you get when you strain yogurt yourself to make it "greeky" can be useful.
I like Greek Gods, but will always buy Fage & Chobani first. If I could find Better Whey of Life Greek Yogurt around here again, I'd never buy anything else!
I think it tastes great, we sometimes add whey protein, our idea of dessert!
I like Greek Gods yogurt, and it's better than what I'd be eating otherwise, so I'm good with it.
I like it-- I've never noticed anything objectionable about the texture....
