I've enjoyed your is it primal posts...I had a question about liquid smoke. Many of my marinades just wouldn't be the same without this ingredient. Is it bad for me? Is it overprocessed? Are there better brands than others?

I think Mark said it was ok but I'm not sure. There may be a small amount of carcinogens but I wouldn't worry. After all, Grok inhaled lots of smoke.
