Christmas dinner - no problem. We eat French Canadian meat pie. I've never really liked the crust so I'll likely pick at it and give the rest away to someone else at the table. I'll allow myself to indulge - Christmas only happens once per year! So I'll have some potatoes, I'll skip the bread, I'll have the salad and the wine. And I'm sure I'll have some dessert, whatever it is my mom bakes this year (we're going to her place).

Big-ass salad with almonds, pumpkin seeds, dried goji berries and dried blueberries.
Mid-afternoon:
Damn dark chocolate bar with almonds (but I shared it)

Leftover chicken tikka masala over cauliflower rice

Holidays are over and I survived :D Time to start journaling again.
Today, I will laze around on the couch with my dog, trying to absorb microscopic amounts of Vitamin D through the window. Tomorrow, the journalling returns!

Friday, January 11th.
I'm super-excited that I'm staying under 50 grams of carbs. Seriously! This is new to me but I feel fabulous and I am losing weight. Maybe it's water weight again but I don't care because I'm feeling so awesome.

I started on a new ionic magnesium supplement tonight that I picked up at our local wellness expo, and also a new vitamin C-lysine-proline-other-good-stuffs supplement. Feels great!
