Funny, because the only two cereals I used to like were unsugared shredded wheat and plain Special K. With nonfat milk because I didn't like the way whole milk coated my tongue. My how times have changed. :)
My poison of choice used to be Kashi with non fat milk.

I used to eat Kashi with light Dannon yogurt. I'd destroy half a box daily.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch. My mom hated it because it came in a smaller box than the rest of them and I could chow the whole box in one sitting. Used to add half and half to the milk when mom wasn't looking.
And then was hungry by 10am at school. Maybe 1030 on the days that half and half was added. Never connected the dots.

Frosted Mini-wheats here. But with fruit. A 1:1 ratio had to be maintained at all times.

Hell yeah! That and Golden Grahams.

Plain cornflakes, 2% milk. I could(and sometimes did) demolish an entire box and 1/2 gallon.
No wonder my Blood glucose was 447 on the day I was told I was a diabetic....

My favorite was grapenuts.
I hate the commercial with the mom teaching her cute little baby to eat cheerios. Say bye-bye to that nice wide facial bone structure on your baby. I also hate the one with the lady putting her clothes in the donation box while the other lady compliments her on her weight loss. Right...wholegrains do that fer sure.
I'm betting that a good portion of the protein in special k actually is in the skim milk you eat it with.

If it becomes a matter of survival, I'd have cat food before resorting to any cereal. I hate cereal with a passion and some of that Fancy Feast canned food looks and smells fairly appetizing.
