Is it possible that fat can cause hunger?
Learning about PB has made me not afraid of fat. I've ditched all the "diet" products that were mostly corn and carbs anyway; there is real butter and oil in my fridge. Though I rarely use mayo, when I do, I make it myself.
But lately, I've been feeling hungry more often. Carb intake is pretty low; usually around 60 grams, and I don't imagine I've gone over 100 in awhile. (Even Tgiving.) I don't eat nuts or nut butters; no chocolate. Not even a lot of fruits, especially since the weather cooled. I eat more cheese than a lot of PBers, but I've always done that, and always accounted for the calories.
So, the issue is mostly the hunger factor. The last time I had to lose weight, I basically decreased calories and didn't "know from" macros. I ate mostly lean meats, boiled eggs (2 per day), 80 calories of half and half per day, green veggies, and a cup of diet ice cream at night. Occasional fruit instead of the ice cream. I got half my calories at supper, and the rest throughout the day. I rarely felt hungry.
So is it possible that for some people a larger percentage of fat can cause hunger?
