Tazo Calm and a green tea. I think it's the chamomile and mint that are active in the Calm.
Straight green tea?
*takes notes since the sinus ick is going around*
Yep. Sencha is what I get, but so long as it's not the flavored goop in a minipack, you should be good.
Had more jambalaya for lunch. A full dinner serving's worth. Between that and the weight gain (although down to 130 even after several pints of liquid certainly is a good thing), Geek keeps asking if I'm pregnant and making peanut butter and pickle jokes. I'm still thinking it's my thyroid (BC can fuck with it and I did just change varieties a couple month back, I need to see in primrose oil does) but I'll be glad to see 'Bama this month (crimson tide.)
I got REALLY warm after lunch. As in, had to find a cold tile floor and lay down warm. Still not sure what to think about that. Was kinda queasy too. Hoping it's not the ick Sabine had.

Not quite. Tongue in cheek female joke. I really don't care abt college football. (Even if I did, it's be Texas Tech, my alma mater.)

Hindsight: stupid me. Clever you.
I'm gonna have to seek out this tea you speak of. Thanks for the "recipe".
Love your reference to Shark Week.
Jackhammers in stereo. Lovely. They're now tearing up streets to all but the east and south of the office, simultaneously.
I also can't watch scary movies and sometimes weird stuff sets off my anxiety, and other times, it doesn't at all. Can't watch Walking Dead, but handle Boardwalk Empire just fine. Both are violent.
Just read The Female Brain by Louann Brizendene and she talks about women being more susceptible to the imagery of violence and it causing a strong anxiety reaction. Man, that book changed my whole view of myself, now I'm like, it's not me being a wimp, it's just 10s of 1000s of years of primal neurology that was used to keep me and my offspring alive and well. Because think about it, you are off in an enclave with your community, the men leave to hunt, the women group together to help protect each other while they gather. You see a hugely violent episode with one of the children being mauled. It is crucial that everyone has a visceral reaction so that everyone grabs a child or a stick to stave off further attack. Our brains don't know that it is just a movie, our brain always reacts in a way to best protect us and keep us alive.
This makes soooooooo much sense to me. Now, I am a major fan of The Walking Dead and the killing of the zombies doesn't bother me one iota. It's everything that happens to the humans on the show that makes it so I do not sleep on Sunday nights. One female character was almost raped the other night and it totally freaked me out. A young boy had to shoot his own mother in the head so she wouldn't turn after being cut open to get a baby out. It's the stuff like that bothers me. I think you can also figure that I don't watch ANY Lifetime TV at all period. Plus, I despise horror films with a passion.
