Blech kind of day. Foster dog driving me bonkers. Every once in a while I get a dog that is just kind of annoying. Remind me not to take on a small dog again in the near future. I like the big 'uns.

Sometimes I miss those potatoes!
No real measurable exercise today. Walked the dogs about 2/3 mile if lucky.
Eating breakfast this morning. I'm doing my weekly food pantry bakery pick-up and sometimes I have a hard time resisting the goodies. The coffee shop across the street from the grocery store donates day old muffins, scones, rolls that we cannot pass out at the pantry (not packaged to code). I drop those off for the daily pantry volunteers but sometimes the scones lure me in like a male siren.

Walked an hour on the treadmill. Starting to get to the point that I'm not sweating any more. Should I bump it up a notch? Scared to do more pelvic organ damage so I think I'll be happy with what I've got thus far.
A ton of butternut squash. A ton of it.
I think the fiber is starting to get to me. Ugh

went out with my friend to celebrate the birth of her first grandchild! I can't believe a peer of mine is a grandma. She had her son at 18 and gave him up for adoption. About 8 years ago he found her and they have been tight ever since. I love it.

Full! We will see if this carries me through the day. I am amazed at how hungry I get despite eating a lot. I think it is boredom.

I seem to want to eat until I am stuffed once a day and then not want to eat much at all after that. What to make of it? It really doesn't bother me except for the fact I have to eat dinner with the family. I don't want to have to answer questions about my lack of eating at dinner, nor do I want to give my kids the impression that mom is restricting food.
Woosh. Long day at a cheer competition. Not willing to spend $2 on a bottle of water and forgot to bring my snacks. I was starving when I got home.

It seems when I eat I eat until gorged. Then I'm good for the day. I'd literally be OK eating once a day, although that one time lasts an entire hour. I guess that might be how my ancestors ate: gorged on the kill. :)

Stressful day: IEP meeting for my 6th grader. We need a plan to help him stay organized and improve reading comprehension. So tired of IEP meetings and teachers looking toward ME to solve the problems. Who are the trained professionals here?

I have the same problem... well I have to eat dinner with parents or roommate, but I totally understand.
I am glad to see you are able to get out and walk again! That is awesome. The cold fresh air is actually feeling pretty good I think (in Iowa). How about some cross country skiing?
