Celebrating new job - with book donations

Six months ago, I got a new job, so to celebrate, I offered to donate 10 copies of the Primal Blueprint to my local ([URL="http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library/"]Fairfax County VA[/URL]) library system. The process involved giving them a single copy of the book, and some paperwork, and they would decide if they wanted to put the book on their shelves.

Four months later... :) They [I]did[/I] decide to accept the book - four copies, anyway. (Oh well, better than nothing).

So I got them from Amazon and brought them in to the library, where they are being processed. Although they are still in-processing, there are already [B]18 holds[/B] on the book (ignore the "1 copy" message - all ztechnical books say that):

I'd say there's a demand for Primal information...

Congrats on the new job! That's a fantastic idea, donating the book to the library. I've never heard of that before. I'm going to keep that in mind and may do likewise sometime down the road. Right now I just keep giving my copy away to someone I know and buying myself another copy.
