well if i were more motivated i'd go back to whole grains and escalate my hormone issues and die from THAT, then have a will requesting only that my headstone read 'stfu hater'
I'll watch it tomorrow. For now, I'll say he looks positively evil in that first frame. Sure to be a good talk.
That was nutty and a waste of time. He rehashed a lot of his article on the paleo diet and made a crazy declaration of war against low carb. The claim about Pritikin curing MS intrigued me, as did the bit about Mikkel Hindhede. Had some evidence of starch consumption among hunter gatherers in the paleolithic period, not really a big deal. Wouldn't recommend it.
I remember hearing Robb Wolf talk about how he's been reaching out to vegetarian and vegan activists, trying to achieve some solidarity. I don't know if this battle call is a direct result of those efforts or what. But I have to say, the idea of a vegan army amuses me.
I agree with Timthetaco. (Great name by the way! :D)
This guy's a little loopy. He's WAY too pressing about the fact that we're not eating 100% like they did thousands of years ago.
Wait, is he pressing for us all to be vegetarians? Um. I was really not well as a vegetarian.
Maybe that's why he's so angry?
OMG he's trying to say that it's EVIL. 'Cause, that's not an emotional response, that's a scientific response. This guy's just as bad as a bowl full of fruit loops.
It just shows we're in the "fight" stage of how Gandhi described the path of a revolution. Up next: winning.
On another note, I couldn't help but notice the striking similarity in appearance between McDougall and Taubes.
I'm not sure which one's the evil twin.
