Fat Bombs
Anyone make "fat-bomb" shakes? I have read on various blogs where people mix up super high fat content shakes for breakfast or whatever. I normally IF during the week and skip breakfast but on the weekend these things hit the spot. 6oz of heavy cream, a couple TBLs of coconut oil, almond milk, frozen strawberries, greek yogurt and stevia.
I basically copied/modified this from Peter Attia's site and tried it out. Pretty damn satiating...

Sounds incredibly unhealthy. That is no way I would want to start my day.

Unhealthy how? It is a calorie bomb sure, but it contains potent doses of healthy fats that we, as primalites, all know are great for you.
And that much fat should provide enough energy to keep you going for HOURS if not even the whole day. ;)

Why are you still here?

Yeah, you should stick with 3oz of Special K and fresh berries with non-fat milk ;)

Ha ha ha!
I love a good fatty smoothie. It is high calorie but that is ok. It keeps me full until lunch. Sometimes I will have one of these for dessert, I usually will fast the next morning because I don't feel hungry still.
Heavy cream, coconut milk or raw milk
Almond butter
1 frozen banana (carby but yum)
1 square super dark chocolate
a spoon of coconut oil (sometimes I forget this)
a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of stevia
-
Here's a smoothie I've done before:
Two tablespoons of macadamia nut butter (sometimes three if I want more flavor)
Two tablespoons of coconut oil
Six to eight ounces of heavy cream or coconut milk
Two to four tablespoons of Greek yoghurt (depending on how thick you want it)
One square of baking chocolate or three tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
Stevia to taste
-
For me I would probably skip the Stevia but I don't have a super sweet tooth. I could see using this as a quick, on the fly breakfast but I would miss my cheese and veg omelet and bacon in the morning cooked in butter or coconut oil...keeps you going all day.

You really do seem all over the place took a 2 second look at your blog where you say "I recently have been getting into “primal eating” but not 100% committed", considering some of your posts here I woudl say you eat much more of a SAD diet.

I've never made a fat bomb shake, but I might now! Sometimes I make this amazing heritage bacon, and once I got a pork belly... mmm, now that was a fat bomb. I still have the lard from it.
