Thank you for sharing your story. Yes, you are very lucky to be alive. I think that primal/paleo is probably the perfect diet and lifestyle to go along with your newfound sobriety. Clean living all around. I can't really relate to the hard addiction, but I can definitely relate to waiting until you are in your 30's to get your shit together. I hope to hear more about your progress on here :)
Thanks! I read your journal earlier along with a few others and it inspired me to write my own... so thank you :)

Ha, I am sure my journal was of no inspiration! I am working on it though... and of course you are most welcome. :)
Welcome and good luck. You'll find a lot of support here and I hope it all comes good for you.
Welcome to the paleo way of life! Remember the hardest thing is just to take the first step, and you've already done that - hurrah!
Thank you so much for sharing!! Welcome to MDA!
Welcome! Very glad to have you here with us. I can relate to some parts of your story and it pulled me in...very moving. Stay strong, we are all here to help you in anyway we can :D
Thanks for sharing your story here, and well done for what you have achieved so far. there is definitely something to say for "clean body, clean mind".
Awesome! Keep up the good work. Obviously the diet needs a bit of tweaking, but once you get a chance to go to the store that should be taken care of. I love caffeine too! I found that I needed it a lot less after I cleaned up my diet though. One day at a time!!! I mean that's really your only option, but one day seems a lot less daunting than weeks and years sometimes :)
