My work out lately
running laps around a little kitchen store, and running up and down steps to the basement to bring up inventory. Tis the christmas season and I love my little part time job, perfect for a college student. But when Christmas vacation comes, the store goes bonkers. It will be a long week of working 9-6 intensely. Work outs will be put on hold, but on the bright side, work is distracting and keeps me busy which helps me to eat better. I either take my lunch or go across the street for a salad
This week I will be focused on diet
-
Work 9-6
B - coconut treat
L - chicken & salad
s- clementine
D - steak and veggies
-
work 9-6 on feet all day
B - veggies w/ hummus
L - 2 eggs & salad
D - Large chicken breast, salad, & 1/2 sweet potato
S- almonds, 2 clementines, other random munchies?? heated almond milk
I plugged what I remember eating for the day in to my fitness pal It looks like I ate around 1800 calories with 125g carbs, I am satisfied... sounds like about the amount I needed for the day. I would not mind getting the carbs to about 75 - 100 g though especially since I have not really been working out lately

Holy snow!!
Yesterday the ground was brown/ green today ... white, everything, and deep!
So excited and hope it stays so I can cross country ski. .... not sure if I work today or not, all the schools are closed. I drove to work with the 4WD on but no one was their ... looks like a good snuggle up day and maybe some apartment cleaning :)
All this in one night

I had a dream the other night where I was riding on an antique motor cycle with 3 other people in a hurry to get some where. I soon had to stop and get off because of a car crash up ahead where a gal was screaming and had both her legs amputated. as I walked by (because I was in a hurry and had to keep moving) I was stepping on broken glass barefoot. I then got to the other side of the crash and found a shed with another motorcycle in it, but monkeys where throwing boxes from up above at me so I could not take it.... after this my phone went off with a snow storm warning and I woke up, too strange

last night I dreamed about riding a tandem bike all by myself, that was pretty much the extent of that

I am not amused by your snow fall. All I have asked for this Christmas is snow and all we have is rain. We had a little a couple of weeks ago, but it didnt hang around. So I would very much appreciate it if you stopped flaunting your snow....

Back to the journal! Holidays are fun, family was great, but I am ready for some routine. Today I will be going cross country skiing and I am making a "Ruben" meat loaf for dinner... It has sour kraut in the middle along with some other Ruben seasonings.
I am currently reading the primal blue print book by mark and I am enjoying most parts, about half way through. My sister gave it to me for Christmas :D
Richard - sorry about the snow photos hehe. It's probably going to be gone next week with the temps going up. Hope some of the rain you've been getting turned to snow!

Even though I have not been posting lately, the primal situation is going very well. I think having a nice long vacation has helped regulate my stress hormones
Dinner tonight
Bacon wrapped sirloin
Asparagus
Glass of red wine
I'm pretty sure this is my favorite meal
I have been doing a lot of walking lately. I really enjoy going for an hour long walk just after I wake up in the morning. Classes do not start until the 14th and once I get into my new class/work routine I plan to post daily work outs and meals
Smiles and peace through out me yippie

did not sleep well last night, I woke up very hungry and I think I was too hot. Not much free time right now but my parents are visiting tomorrow night for dinner so that is nice to look forward too. I am becoming interested in purchasing some vibram shoes... maybe when it gets closer to spring
I really loved MDA's article today 16 Things You Should Have Never Stopped Doing | Mark's Daily Apple
I really agreed with a lot of the points, really enjoyed the read!
