saturday:
A rest day... and it's snowing.... forcast is for 1-3" oh joy.......
Diet:
B: scrambled eggs, pork sausage
L: pork steak
D: BAS, pork steak
S: boiled egg, peanuts
Sunday:
We got allot less snow that I thought we were going to.... less than an inch. It is below freezing this am, an I had to use a hammer to open 2 of the chicken houses, and a propane torch to defrost the lock on the biggest house. Such are the winter time joys of a small time chicken farmer! They are all fed, the watteres are frozen solid, but there is plenty of snow, so that aren't going without water. They'd prefer to drink out of a puddle on the ground than out of their waterer anyway.... so let them eat snow!
I was thinkin about going for a run, since I am in week 2 of my induction to ketosis... but I really don't want to freeze my lungs in the process... it was going to be a bonus run today anyway.... so I will louge and watch violent movies on the TV instead...
Dr Sub, I don't think that violent movies are a great idea. I think that Canio has a wee bit of a cuddle group going on over at his - might be a better option ??????? Mrs Sub could join in ??????
Would the chooks really eat the snow instead of drinking water ??????
Cuddle groups work best with violent/scary movies.
