Yes.
yes ive incorporated them into my training. they are best with a combination of isotonic. your first 2 sets you be isotonic 6-12 reps then the third set should be an isometric hold exerting as much tension and force possible
I work in physical therapy, and I am very fond of eccentric muscle contractions for strength, slow and controlled :)
I like them and find they're effective and offer interesting variety and a different mental challenge along with the physical.
