Well, it arrived and hubby and I tried it this afternoon. We both enjoyed it, did the cowboy method, liked it strong. The only issue is that I got really really sleepy brain foggy afterwards, happen to anyone else? Could be unrelated, will see what happens next time.
I tend to get sleepy foggy brain after drinking warm fluids of any kind. They relax me :)

Yes, been having it again. Really like it, a super evening treat.

Just a heads up that Crio has come out with holiday flavors! Mint and Pumpkin Spice. Working through my first bag of mint... I'm not getting much mint taste (I like super strong flavors), but I can see tiny mint leaves ground up in the bru.

I didn't like it the first time - with milk - but now that I've taken to adding heavy cream instead, it's really grown on me! I've also just ordered the holiday flavors, will see how it goes.

Add more mint leaf! ;)
Mint leaf is too easy to come by to not toss more in.

Anyone thought of putting egg nog in their crio instead of cream this month? Or maybe some coquito :)
-
If I started putting Coquito (just looked up the recipe) in my coffee or crio, I'd have start walking 20 miles per day. I do, however make Bullet Proof Mexicans (BP coffee with tequila), or when flying on the cheap, BP Russians (vodka instead of tequila).
May I ask what the difference is between Crio Bru and just making hot cocoa with water instead of a milk/cream/coconut product?

Crio Bru is not hot cocoa. It's the chocolate equivilent of coffee. Very deep and sometimes bitter. I believe hot cocoa still has the cacao butter in it, while crio is made from roasted, ground up nibs.

After reading this thread, I ordered the Cavalla and I tried it today. I loved it. Move over, coffee! All of the coffee-drinking adults on my Christmas list are getting some. Thanks, everyone!
I can't tell you how many new things I have tried since going Primal in June and 95% have been winners. :D
