I love chicken hearts.
I trim all the excess fat, marinade in a bit of gluten free soya sauce, olive oil, garlic and chilles for at least a few hours/overnight.
Skewer onto bamboo skewers that have been soaked in water for an hour and then I hit the bbq and grill them up.
Left over chicken hearts sauted with bacon the next day is a pretty special treat at my house.
Boil in soup with other chicken parts and eat.
Honestly, we just use them like chicken breast chunks in the Knight house. Cheaper and pre-formed with better flavor.
Left over chicken hearts? No such thing back in the day..
I've stopped eating chicken because I couldn't get it in high quality
Though I really enjoyed it in BBQ's/on the pan.
Try eating cow's heart - it's awesome too.
I roasted them once with a medley of tubers. Don't do that. Can't stop eating.
Normally, soups with any vegetables will work great with some lightly browned chicken hearts!
I just sautee them and eat them. Well, the word "them" is an overstatement. I have only ever had them out of the bag of giblets, so I've only ever had them one at a time. If I ever find a whole bunch of them, I think I will skewer them like kebobs.
[FONT=Book Antiqua]every oogly bit is delicious in broth and coconut milk, with some greens and hot sauce added at the end. especially if you are at all squeamish.

Hmmm thanks guys! I bought quite a bit (they only sold it in medium sized bags) so I will divide in half and try both Grok n Roll and Noodle Toy's ideas :D can't wait
I make these for my husband and he LOVES them! I have never tried them, I just can't get over the fact that it's the heart of an animal /squeal. Anyway, I usually throw them in a pot when I cook a whole chicken. There's a sticky chicken recipe on allrecipes that I use on the whole chicken, throw in the hearts and cook for 5 hours on low heat. Cooking them this long made them less chewy apparently. It's amazing, or so he says :P
