If anyone has fermented plums before, I would love to hear about your experience. Wild plums are just about at peak here. (And I've become addicted to Umeboshi paste as my steak sauce but it's soo expensive.)

I don't know if you could call them fermented, but I do have my grandmother's pickled prune recipe.
