I had a MAJOR set back last night. I went to go see the new Batman movie. I had been putting off going out to a movie because I knew the temptation for junk would be very high. But I was starting to feel like a bit of a party pooper because I kept trying to get out of going out. Well, one glass of wine led to two, which led to some popcorn and a lot of licorice. Gah! I feel soooo guilty today. Gonna keep the carbs and calories low today and get in a sprint. This morning I was a little depressed from falling off the wagon, but I'll just get up, dust myself off and get back on the horse. Hope everyone is doing great!
No need to feel guilty! Pick yourself up, brush off the dirt, and climb back up. :)

Jackie! Did you get your gold plated bacon yet??

Day 9 check in:
Just finished up lamb chops for dinner with a side of kale and tricolored peppers.
I got my LHT workout is today.
And one more half pound off. That makes 2.5 so far and I don't feel deprived in the least.
Yay ketosis!

I totally did! Sorry, I've been posting about it on the Whole30 thread. It's very good - but DANG, that's a lot of bacon! I also have to actually drain the fat; yesterday, I didn't, and I ate 4 strips, and I was queasy an hour later. Today, I had three strips and drained the excess fat, and it was all fine. :)
Don't know if it's worth the price, though. It should clean up after I cook, for this price!

Day 9 of primal summer camp challenge :p
Food: For a short-ass some days I can sure eat alot, bulletproof coffee for breakfast, 3 egg omelette with onion in + 3 slices bacon + 6 slices parma ham for lunch, chilli + green beans followed by raspberries, blueberries n blackberries + greek yoghurt for dinner.
Exercise: round 2 of LHT for the week. I managed to squat 57.5kg and 40kg on my barbell rows which are new pbs for me, so it was a :D day in the gym.

Heya, I am back from our awesome trip. Food-wise, I did a bit of sugar, and took down a corner of a pretzel on a long-long sailing, but I stayed to relatively good foods otherwise. As much as you can while eating out. Obviously, there were bad oils, and who knows what they manage to slip wheat in nowadays. Been to the gyms in the hotels, walked a lot... but also sat a lot in the car.
Good news though, my husband and I were chatting a lot about our retirement plans and health on the long long drive home (8 hours...) and he decided to go strict Primal to fix his digestive issues and extra weight. So, no dairy in our house, no grains, no cheats....
Because of the extra weight I still carry (did not lose anything, dart) I regained my ability to fast, and don't bother with more than 2 meals a day. Hoping to start getting rid of the belly bulge now, fingers crossed!

Jackie I am drooling over food-porn bacon right now. Even queasiness from extra fat sounds good now, lol!
Rach- way to go on the PBs!
Paleobird your weigh is just melting off huh? Yay!
Angela, are you going to join us on our challenge? Let us know how you're doing!
Leida, let us know how you do on diet and PBF now that you are home!
For me, I ate too much nuts yesterday, but otherwise was picture perfect diet-wise. I cleaned my house from top to bottom yesterday, it was a 5 hour endeavor, so that must count for some amount of my "slow steady movement" right? Today I'll sprint. Sugar cravings are high from my goof up on Wednesday. Staying strong.

Leida, I'm so glad you got your hubby on board. That makes things so much easier.
Yep, cavebabymama, and I lost another .5 lb today. Thats 3 lbs in 10 days. I like it.
I did a really long walk with my dog today to the zoo, around inside the zoo, and then all the way home. About ten miles in all. The dog and I are both pretty well tuckered.
Dinner was two grass fed beef filets and a pile of green beans cooked in this chile infused butter I found at a middle eastern grocery store.
And this is day 5 of the lower med dose for me with no ill effects.
Did I mention I like ketosis?

Everyone is doing great! Rah!!!
I've got my fingers crossed that I'll actually get a solid six hours of sleep tonight. **glances at ancient Officekitty** That is, if my feline overlord will allow it. She's taken to walking **on my face** when she wants my attention when I'm sleeping. Evil cat!
