Hey guys! This is my first post in this part of the forum, as I was inspired by the thread to look through some old photos. Great work everyone, by the way!
My history is that I was quite big as a teenager (270lbs+), but managed to lose some of it by giving up sugared drinks. Over the next many years my weight has fluctuated between 215 and 235lbs, trying desperately to lose weight with chronic cardio and restricted died. Always failed, always ballooned up as well. In January 2011 I quit smoking and started working out (a Starting Strength type program) and still didn't manage to lose weight, although I did get stronger. At Christmas 2011 I read Eat Stop Eat, and decided to give IF a try. It was tough, but I managed. I weighed around 230lbs at this time. Pretty soon after I cought onto the Primal Blueprint and started adopting it over a few months. That has been behind me now being at my lowest weight in ages, and just feeling way better! Not quite there yet, but it's working. Today I´weigh in at 194lbs. I haven't done much lifting this year, due to injuries, but hopefully soon I'll be able to follow a proper weightlifting course again!
Here are some pics illustrating the transformation so far:
As a teenager:

And here's a hike recently

Here are some progress pics :
Here is my body at the very beginning of my true TRT, following a big period of body degradation, the muscles just started to rebuild themselves but I look very unhealthy

And here is me today, around 3 or 4 months paleo and with a non optimal TRT going down, without any kind of physical activites

Oh, merci beaucoup :D
Francophone ? =]
I have to say that the Paleo WOE impresses me very much in terms of the body composition that it starts to give me. Even if a part of this comes from the restauration of physiological hormonal levels, I'm pretty much convinced that I could never have get a body with this kind of "athletic shape" without physical activities with a CW diet.

Daydreamer, what was your testosterone level before the treatment, if you don't mind me asking? And what is it now?
-
When I was 17, my Total T was around 300 ng/dl, then it fell to 170 ng/dl
I crashed badly when I tried to do weights lifting. My Total T just before being treated, in February, was around 20 ng/dl.
Now it's around 700 ng/dl when measuring the peak and the through, but in France it's treated in a very suboptimal way so I need to go to Brussels where a very reputable doc can give me help in terms of injection frequency, estradiol control (aromatase inhibitors)...etc
