I was too afraid to weigh myself at the start. My starting weight is what it was last time at the doctor's office: 163lbs. I did not think I lost any weight the first month. I struggled to adjust to the diet. I puffed up a lot from edema on the final moment before the weight loss began, which was week 5.
I had no real goal weight. I just wanted to stop my unquenchable hunger and the insidious gaining. I did that and lost ~25-30lbs to somewhere around 133-135. I try not to weigh often. It's kind of not meaningful.

anyone keeping track of the total? This is some serious weight loss!!
I hope everyone's story is similar to mine - I didn't have to struggle or starve myself, I followed the guidelines of what to eat and the weight just dropped.
Do I miss the wheat & sugar drinks (I was a coke junkie)? Not too much because I really like the the shape I'm in now!
I have had to move all my fat guy pants to another closet though.

Goal weight..........don't really have one - body fat around 20% is more of my goal...that, strength and health.
After 10 months I went from about 27-28% BF to 22% and got rid of GI issues.

I cut wheat so from November to January went from 215 (size 16 headed rapidly to 18) to 202. My first full primal month- no soy, no wheat, cut sugar, eat fat etc. I went from 202 to 195.
So SW- 202
1 month, 195
Goal- 150 or size 8 whichever comes first.

Right now I'm stalled at 184 and a size 12.
