Still have power (yay!) The river around the house is about 3 feet higher than normal. It's gotta rise a lot to be an issue for me, but I'm keeping my eye on it. Still kind of a party atmosphere here near the beach with people walking down to see natures fury. If it gets worse, and it is supposed to, the police and National Guard will tell people to go home.
Our Governor has closed down the roads and local officials are telling people to hunker down and ride out the storm where they are (assuming it's somewhere safe). So far, so good!
Looking pretty crazy out there at the moment! Praying for your safety and that the storm surge doesn't affect you guys too much!!
Don't wait too long if things start looking nasty.
So it's pretty intense. Power is out, flooding is remarkable, but we're okay. Gotta conserve battery so that's all. We're safe and for the most part comfortable. DC

Hi all! Made it through the storm alright. We lost a chunk of roof, but that's about it. We are still without power. I am right this minute in Minneapolis on business. SWMBO is not happy. But the world still turns. Hopefully everything will settle down soon. Hope everybody is alright.
