Even though I am new, I started with the idea of all or nothing. I never would have realized, in just a few weeks, how much different I feel without dairy, wheat, oats, sugars, diet coke, additives, etc. I figured there is no point in half assing. However, get ready for the “carb flu” as it knocked me on my ass. Eat some fruits to fight it off but be prepared. Depending on your current diet you don’t realize how badly your body relies on quick, cheap energy until you cut off the supply.
Absolutely try to go a month or two strictly without grains. Only then will you be able to clearly see the benefits.
