Okay, tired did many stairs - ready for bed!
Legs are sore this morning. Slept fair - up about 2 hours. Coffee with coconut cream and leftover pork chop. Off to get my hair done.
:) I get my hair cut about every 6 months....... and my BIL does it. I love the hairwashing part - AWE feels so good to have someone else scrub and rub your scalp - but the rest I can do without. I let my hair grow long and then cut it all off! :) have a good day! Enjoy the pampering! :)
Good luck with your challenge. I suppose I'm doing much the same thing here.
My hair doesn't grow fast enough to get long in six months... Saves me money in haircuts, or it would if it didn't start looking so dorky I have to cut it off.
Dinner with two of DH friends who are in town for an ironman competition. Grilled chicken with mushrooms and cheese, squash, and garden salad with blue cheese. Water with lemons - several 24 oz glasses. Unwinding right now.
Weight stable, no up, no down. Tomorrow is my official weight day. I took my waist measurement and it is down 2 inches from about a month ago when I measured. So maybe the weight not dropping since I've started being strict and exercising is muscle? My calves are getting cut. Slept good, heard DS leave at 0430, but went back to sleep until DH got up at 0600. Read for a bit, now coffee with coconut cream and catching up on Internet stuff. Today stats case study and working on paper #3. Will set out outfits to pack and start packing books. I'm staying with a friend this trip. She knows I'm glutten and grain free and has planned meals around me. :) She is a big salad eater and says dinner will usually be salad, meat, veg. Tomorrow she is leaving a homemade eggplant parm (no breading, homemade) and salad for me as she won't be home. I hope I don't gain weight this trip, since she is a great cook.
Oh how lovely to have a cooperative friend who is also a great cook! The trick will be mainly not to overeat. I try to stuff myself with veggies in similar circumstances. I don't always succeed, but there you are. And concentrate as much as possible on conversation and anything else that slows down the eating process. Jumping up to help with clearing the table or rinsing dishes or whatever, for example, playing with children and/or pets, anything at all that fits the situation and isn't eating. I spend a lot of time with Italians and their long, drawn-out Sunday meals, so this is a very important life skill for me.
Pork loin has been in slow cooker all day - to shred and leave for boys. I've used up the organic apples making a Paleo crisp, oven roasted tomatoes, shredded zucchini and blanched, and baked sweet potatoes to mash. All but the crisp will be frozen so as to not go to waste. They have frozen chili and chipotle meatballs also. So no excuse to not eat well while I'm gone.
Heh. If they're anything like mine, defrosting pre-made food is an excuse. I mean, you have to first defrost and then rewarm. Such effort! And frozen pizza only requires one step...
True, but they will have to go buy the pizza! If they don't eat the frozen supplies then I've got some fall back for when I get home.
