Becoming RE-Keto-adapted with IFing
I was doing so well and felt so great having become keto adapted and a daily intermittent faster after 2 months of trying to get there. Then I got lax, started slipping up and lost it all to the carb craving monster and am starting over after a month or more off. So now that I'm trying to get back to where I was I'm just wondering if it takes just as long when you start over or if I may have saved any of my "keto-adaptedness". I'm a few days back on track so far and am feeling no low carb flu symptoms but waves of excruciating hunger during the daily fasts. Has anyone else on here had to re-adapt like this and did it take as long the second time around? Thanks for the help!!
